Our pond begins at last. Here is my diary detailing its progression from breaking ground, through its completion and naturalisation to the anticipated visitations from wildlife at large.

Would you flipping believe it?
I turn my back for five minutes to pressure wash the drive and when I return I find that Mrs S has strategically placed some potted plants (It’ll add a splash of colour, she says) But! The curtains are a bit over the top don’t you think?
I’m looking to plant trailing ivy to soften the stones and various small ferns along the high wall edge. I love the idea of bulbs and grasses but can’t dig down to soil now, so I can’t get the ultimate natural look.
😂🤣🤣😂🤣😂 ….genius! But not my choice of curtains..I’d go for something far more pretty…with a vintage touch.
